Stringing Courses
We offer different courses depending on what you'd like to learn. We believe that we cover most aspects of stringing and customisation of racquets.
There are 6 Course available, and they are :-
Each course will use Babolat stringing machines; and for the customisation course, a Babolat racquet diagnostic machine (RDC). We will use Babolat racquets, strings, grips and grommet strips during the courses, so you don't even need to bring anything with you. Of course, if you wish to bring your own racquet, you're more than welcome.
We will use Babolat machines as we feel that they're not only considered the best on the market, but the easiest to learn to string on. The course will focus on how-to-string a racquet, and these will aid you in learning.
Once you've attended a course we can arrange some special deals covering strings, accessories and tools through our course associates. We can also advise on machine purchases through Apollo Leisure.
While we will give you the best learning experience over your chosen course, it won't make you an expert overnight. To become a competent stringer will take plenty of time and practice, and we will be there to support you along the way long after you've finished your course. We are considering supplying a certificate to confirm your attendance of ERSA stringing course, but this should not be considered a stringing qualification.
Once you feel confident in your skills, please consider taking either the Certified Stringer (CS) or Master Racquet Technician (MRT). There are also the industry leading Master of Racquet Sports, Pro Tour Stringer levels 1 & 2, and Master Pro Tour Stringer. These are the only industry recognised stringing qualifications, and are not given out lightly.
It is anticipated that we will be able to offer coaching licence points for tennis coaches. Please check each course to see the points that will be allocated, although it is expected that the introductory course will attract half the number of points available on the standard course.
